The Bristol office has 479 staff including 36 partners (and
firmwide support functions). Many of the firm's national teams are
led by established legal experts based in this office. In addition,
Bristol provides the administrative back office function for the
firm nationwide. Leading specialisms include construction, real
estate, projects, PFI/PPP, injury risk, professional indemnity,
commercial litigation, employment and pensions and
corporate/commercial law. Industry expertise is particularly strong
in financial services, technology, construction & property,
education, health and public sectors.
The office's strong client base and quality of work has provided
the foundation for its move to headquarters at Portwall Place. The
staff from two locations in the city moved into the purpose-built
offices in May 2008 which are innovatively designed to support a
more client-focused approach to service delivery and further
growth. The large floor plates and open plan design at
Portwall Place has allowed us to create an interactive space where
our employees can work in dynamic, cross-disciplinary teams.
